Olive Oils from Spain and the European Union showcased
the best premium olive oil that Spain has to offer at a
special pintxos party hosted at Black Bull. Chefs Marcos
Campos and James Beard nominee Seamus Mullen
joined forces for a culinary demonstration with recipes
featuring the Spanish “liquid gold” for an educational
demonstration on the versatility and health benefits for
cooking with premium Spanish olive oils. The evening also
included guided olive oil tastings led by expert Alfonso
Fernández where guests sampled a wide array of olive oil
varieties. In addition to the culinary demonstrations and
tastings, the event also included an educational speech
by Teresa Perez, GM of Olive Oils from Spain.
