BE A ‘PERFECT PAIR’ THIS VALENTINE’S DAY AT THE PENINSULA CHICAGO The Lobby’s “Perfect Pair” February 10, February 11 and February 14 The Lobby is offering a prix fixe five-course dinner which couples ingredients together to create the ‘perfect pair’ for each course. This romance of food begins with “cauliflower and caviar,” followed by “truffle and beets” and “butternut squash and sage.” For the entrée, diners may choose between “striped bass and bell peppers” or “veal and lobster.” On Friday, February 10 and Saturday, February 11, diners will enjoy the Chocolate Bar for dessert, offering a decadent variety of bite-size sweets. For dessert on Tuesday, February 14, ladies will receive a delicate raspberry lychee “velvety heart,” a cake with a soft chocolate coating, with raspberry pearls, while the gentlemen will receive a milk chocolate ginger velvety heart with lemon drops. The “Perfect Pair” dinner is priced at US$ 110 per person on February 10 and 11, and US$ 95 per person on February 14, excluding tax and gratuity. The hotel’s Sommelier will be available to carefully pair wines with each course.
