GaGé marketplace

Take a trip around the globe to South Korea without ever leaving Chicago with a visit to October’s GaGé marketplace at bellyQ and urbanbelly on Monday, October 27.
Each month, the indoor and outdoor space at 1400 West Randolph Street becomes a marketplace dedicated to art, food, community and music, and with October being National Arts and Humanities Month, there’s no better time to embrace local artisans.

Owner and Executive Chef Bill Kim and his team invite guests to join members of the Chicago community for a Seoul-style bazaar from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. “GaGé” means "market" in Korean, and for one evening each month, bellyQ and urbanbelly are transformed into just that.

During the event, guests can browse and shop for local artisan jewelry, clothing, art and other handmade items while snacking on signature bellyQ and urbanbelly appetizers like Thai Style Fried Chicken and Dumplings. The artists will be selling a myriad of handmade items such as paintings, chocolates, stylish turbans, jewelry and more. While shopping, guests can groove to DJ Selly the Kid and relax with cocktails.

Those in the food industry can take advantage of Monday industry night with 40% off food with a valid ID.
