AMERICAN EXPRESS AND TORY BURCH BRING RUNWAY FASHION TO THE WINDY CITY

Continuing its efforts to provide Chicago Cardmembers with access to
unique and memorable experiences, American Express partnered
with Tory Burch and presented an exclusive runway show featuring
the designer’s Spring 2012 Collection. Hosted by Ms. Burch, the
evening provided a unique experience that offers a deeper look into
the designer’s inspiration and design.

Guests begin the evening with a one-hour cocktail reception featuring
a presentation of the Tory Burch Resort 2011 Collection. Following
the reception, guests took their seats to view an exciting,
one-of-a-kind runway experience of the Tory Burch Spring 2012
Collection – the first formal show presented by the designer following
New York Fashion Week.

Following the show, Ms. Burch joined on the runway by InStyle
Fashion Director Hal Rubenstein, as the two discuss the inspiration
behind the designer’s latest and her overall approach to the world of
fashion. Cardmembers received an exclusive gift bag from Tory Burch
to remember the evening.

Proceeds from the sales of packages will go towards the Tory Burch
Foundation, which Ms. Burch launched in 2009 to provide economic
opportunities to women and their families in the US. In partnership
with ACCION USA, the foundation empowers women to start, sustain
and grow their own businesses through microfinance and mentoring.
