Sexy Hair demonstrated that sexy means “doing good” as well as looking good by donating $5,000 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the largest source of nonprofit funds in the world dedicated to fighting breast cancer. Sexy Hair also transformed some of its “famous red cans” to pink during October to celebrate National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, participating in special pink promotions with its retail partner stores. “This disease affects our industry’s largest clientele, and raising awareness isn’t enough,” said Karl-Heinz Pitsch, Sexy Hair president and CEO. “We want to do our part to contribute toward the research needed to find a cure for breast cancer, and to thank Susan G. Komen for the Cure for its continuing efforts to save lives.” Sexy Hair’s special pink National Breast Cancer Awareness Month promotions included partnering with Ulta to offer limited-edition pink cans of Big Sexy Hair’s Spray & Play, Spray & Play Harder, Root Pump and Root Pump Plus. With Regis, Beauty Brands, Salon Innovations, Premier Salons and Chatters, Sexy Hair presented product promotions featuring FREE pink Sexy Hair umbrellas. |
