'A STARRY NIGHT' PARTY
TO CELEBRATE CLOSE OF JOFFREY'S 2010-11
STARS SEASON, AT JW MARRIOTT

The Joffrey Auxiliary Board celebrated the artists of The Joffrey Ballet
by hosting "A Starry Night," the Company's official Closing Night Party
following the final performance of a stellar 2010-11 season, Sunday,
May 15. "A Starry Night" took place at the Burnham Ballroom of the
new JW Marriott, 151 W. Adams Street, and featured a selection of
cocktails and creative cuisine, plus dancing to the beats of Los
Angeles DJ ASHOK.

The Joffrey Auxiliary Board is a dynamic group of Chicago's young
professionals age forty and below, who support the world renowned,
Chicago-based Joffrey Ballet through membership, volunteerism and
their love of dance. "A Starry Night" Event Chairs were Laura Silva and
Annie Wallis. The Joffrey Auxiliary Board is Co-Chaired by Coco Meers
and Ben Strobel, with Amanda Ciborowski and Rachel Eisenhauer
serving as Communications Co-Chairs; Callie Michels, Membership
Chair; Bradley Parks, Finance Chair; and Nico Rodriguez, Events
Chair.

The Joffrey Ballet's 2010-2011 Stars Season concludes this spring with
Rising Stars, a mixed repertory program featuring World Premieres by
Edwaard Liang (Woven Dreams) and Yuri Possokhov (Bells) plus a
company premiere by Julia Adam (Night).
